It seems like November evaporated. My strata became a kaleidoscope quilt at Kim Caskey’s class on November 13/14; and it is almost’ finished, just have to add borders and it will be ready to be one of my first quilts to longarm on Milieu, my APQS longarm. Meanwhile, more and more practise cloth to quilt.
Then I set up my charity quilt at the Strathcona County museum on the Guild’s hand quilting frame for their quilted Christmas display; and took Shibori and Indigo dying classes November 19/20; the following weekend I went on a mini quilting retreat with 6 friends, and almost finished my promise quilt.
I am dying to show you pictures of all these great projects, but am in Calgary this week spending some time with family and friends; tonight is my older grandson’s first band concert. Then heading home tomorrow, where I can download some great pictures to post to show how busy November was. December looks just as busy, Capilano quilting group on Sunday, Christmas pot luck lunch, Guild on Thursday, Mola applique class Saturday, UFO Saturday and Sunday, and the following week is Max’s, my younger grandson’s birthday, in Calgary.
